All the staff are kind and courteous. The receptionists, security, nurses, aides, and social workers are very professional. They have assisted me and my family in so many ways. They go above and beyond in helping me and my loved ones. Their team are all angels and a blessing to us.

I am amending my review after a recent diagnosis. I was put on medication with detrimental side effects that were ignored by this facility and the doctor, Kandace (Guard). Scenic mountain injected me and I suffered Parkinson’s and EPS so bad I could not speak and could not eat. Kandace told my husband she would refuse to treat me if I saw any other doctor besides her. I had to beg my husband to take me to my PCP during the medical crisis that severely impacted my quality of life and functioning of my body. Furthermore, Kandace knew I had symptoms of hyperprolactinemia and chose to ignore it. I am now diagnosed with this metabolic disorder as a direct result of the medication I was prescribed by WTC MHMR over 5 years ago. I am working with a Harvard doctor. I have learned prolactin is to be checked before and during prescribing this medication. This severe hyperprolactinemia, which is a result of the prescription, caused exacerbation of my genetic connective tissue disease/collagen disorder and caused an autoimmune response. It gives me low blood pressure and high cholesterol. Additionally, the typical side effects were blatantly ignored as I was grilled about my personal life regarding my husband. I asked this doctor if I had to be on this particular medication my whole life. She said yep. I felt hopeless during the duration of my stay in this town especially as I fought to receive subpar care.
