Come see for yourself because we all have our own opinion; not everyone experiences the same… These are great doctors. They have treated me with respect, and even when I was upset, they were professional and understanding. They will help you as much as they can. The caseworker is awesome. I appreciate his honesty and his support, as he will always give me great advice and hope. Prescriptions are given quickly when needed as soon as possible. They will work with your work schedule as well. I'm assuming the bad reviews are from those who didn’t give this place a chance or someone who had one bad experience. I have been with Tropical for 7 years now. I know it was a bit much for me at the beginning, but give it a chance; you’ll learn to grow as you seek the help you need. You’ll get to see how much these doctors do care, and they are doing their best to help you. Of course, like all hospitals and offices, it will be busy, and that’s not their fault, and they can only do so much, so I say come by and see for yourself if you're experiencing mental health issues. My doctor is nice; he cared for my sickness and had someone check my stomach. My psychiatrist is nice. I recommend anyone. Don’t listen to these bad comments; trust me. Seek your own opinion. I honestly don’t understand what these people want from a behavioral health facility. When they do all they can, everyone gets busy, and when they don’t answer your call, big deal; call them back. I’ve read these ridiculously bad comments.

I just got out of here on Sunday.This place is absolute hell. I have now be traumatized even more than already was. They make you strip until you have nothing. Didn’t give me my clothes for 2 DAYS, so I was in paper scrubs for 2 days while on my period. and no meds for 2 days also and I was begging them to get me something because I was seriously not doing well.. On a co-ed unit that scared me intensely. They messed up my medication doses and didn’t change them & also made an appointment with my OLD psychiatrist, without telling me, that I don’t see anymore. When I put my new one on the paperwork, and they know. Never AGAIN. Go to Houston or Dallas if possible. You deserve true healing.
