The actual care staff were perfectly fine, but the billing department staff are incompetent beyond belief. Once, they somehow mailed me one of their bank deposit slips (presumably by accident). It is obvious that they have no care for their employers' patients nor pride in a job well done. It's no wonder this place was the only place with openings inside of 6 months when I first reached out to schedule a psych eval well over a year ago (I already had an excellent primary therapist, but insurance only accepts certain diagnoses from psychiatrists with a PsyD).

The people that work here are just plain Awesome!!!! They are patient and caring from there nurses to the bus driver of there mobile unit. I hope, and pray that someday they can reach out even farther in Northern Wisconsin. They have saved my life that alone is enough said!!! THANK YOU!

My brother has been in Stoval Hall at Mendota Mental Health Institute of Madison Wisconsin for a number of weeks now (2024/2025). During his first week he was put on much more proper medication from what he was on, which has resulted in a much more clearer mind and behaviors. I have visited him often during his stay and seen the improvements. He is now ready for a more permanent housing placement, and actually has been for some time now.
