Mental Health Providers in Decatur, Georgia

While this place certainly isn't without problems, they have great therapists and psychiatrists here. Meg and Dr. Park being the best. Because of the sliding scale setup, I can get mental health services and prescription medication for free. The front desk people don't answer the phone as much as they should, but everyone here has been very sweet to me and it cannot be understated what a big deal it is for me to be able to get medical care here. I can't afford insurance, this is all I have. So thank you to everyone at this center!

Dr. John Moseri is a nightmare to deal with. He’s uncouth, disrespectful, communicates poorly, and doesn’t take the care of his patients seriously. If you disagree or ask questions about anything that’s going on he won’t address your concerns. He’ll just say go to another doctor. He literally laughed in my face today while I brought to his attention concerns I had with his recommendations. Then he put information that was not factual in his reporting, wouldn’t even look at the supporting information I had to show that what he documented was inaccurate, and just refused to operate in a professional manner. All they will do is bill your insurance and hop you up on drugs and you will never get the treatment or clear care plan that you need. The lack of professionalism by him should be studied and banned in all 50 states. If you care about your family don’t bring them anywhere near this poor excuse of a clinician. Believe the reviews. I’m not the only one.

I’m not sure about all the negative reviews, but I’ve had a completely different experience. I have been seen at this office prior to COVID. The staff is amazing, especially if they can tolerate me. My Psychiatrist, counselor, and NP has saved my life, literally. I was introduced to them when I was at my lowest point in my life. 2018-2026 they saved my life. I was able to pick myself up, and go back to college. I graduated Jan 2025, 3.8 GPA, and landed a job after not working for 13 years. They still continue to treat me like a human being. Thank You, to my Dr, NP, and my wonderful therapist, you know who you are.
