Psychology Counseling Center in Deerfield is amazing. There staff are very patient and understanding. Most importantly they are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend seeing there therapist Mindy Jackson at the Deerfield location. She is amazing and very good at what she does. Mindy helped a good friend of mine who was going through a tough time. She was very patient, understanding and supportive. My friend felt very comfortable and got lots of encouragement from Mindy. He is very satisfied with the work and services she provides. Call and ask for Mindy Jackson at the Deerfield office. You will love her. She does a amazing job. Book your sessions with Mindy and you will receive the best quality and care from her.

My experience with the Deerfield Behavioral Health program was extremely concerning, particularly toward the end of my child’s treatment. As the primary parent actively coordinating care, transportation, and communication, I made consistent efforts to support my child’s participation in the program. However, there was a noticeable breakdown in communication and support from staff during critical moments of escalation. Toward the end, the tone and approach toward both myself and my child shifted significantly. I no longer felt supported as a parent seeking help, and communication became limited and misaligned. Concerns I raised—including safety issues—did not result in clear or actionable guidance. Instead of a collaborative, therapeutic approach, interactions began to feel more reactive and less focused on supporting my child’s mental health needs. Ultimately, my child was discharged without what I believe was appropriate coordination or transition planning. Families deserve clear communication, support, and partnership—especially during high-risk situations. That was not my experience here.
