Mental Health Providers in Clinton Township, Michigan

Staff at mental health Access North is terrible, expected me to know who I was seeing even though they did not and can not know the information until intake, the help at the front desk was very rude and the operator who answered refused to give me his name to complain about them( I found out their names are crystal and Nick) apparently. They lack empathy and compassion and the social skills required to communicate with people that have special needs.

My therapist was wonderful, but there is something really wrong with MFS's business model. Before we began our last zoom session (which I really needed) my therapist informed me that my account was past due and I owed almost three hundred dollars. I was never billed and knew nothing about this! When I spoke to the manager later I was told it was the therapist's job to discuss billing. Really? I thought the Billing Department handled this. Then I found out the bill was 2 days old. Still have not received an actual invoice. INSTEAD OF GETTING THE THERAPY I WAS PAYING FOR WE SPENT THE TIME GOING OVER BILLS! So much for "do no harm". Finding another therapist.

This place DOES NOT CARE. Which is ironic because they are a mental health facility. The only thing they are concerned about is money. A very shallow place to try and get help. 0/10 i do not recommend. It’s other places to go get help filled with people who actually enjoy their job and care about you. Save yourself the wasted time.
