I come here for pain management as I'm already familiar with the medication they use. I used to be prescribed in Texas both Subutex with Norco which I feel helped most with my severe pain since my latest car accident, but this clinic is strictly one type of medication. Since it's an addiction clinic, I'm not even complaining on it, and I feel the medication could be highly beneficial to anyone who's struggling to manage their medications especially if dealing with pain. I myself don't suffer from addiction, but I've had many friends who had and the outcome isn't promising. A few scared me, a few I've lost, so to see there's other options is great. However anything can be abused, and so they keep a very close monitor on patients to ensure they're helping and not feeding into the cycle. I take other medications that are controlled so if you do expect extra tests at first to ensure you're not abusing anything which will be expected from any doctor when taking multiple medications. I came here as a new resident of Michigan although I'm from here and only lived outside for a couple years, it's enough time to disconnect from old pain clinics and no longer have a standing. Since my last car accident and the pain I'm now facing, I'm going to have to go to another clinic because my pain is no longer managed and I can't justify my pain medication when I'm still too disabled to walk and expect to get up the next day. I'm left bed bound, but the clinic has been a great stepping stone on getting me back to having my pain greatly reduced so not to be in pain beyond tolerance (if you know you know) though since it's now climbing again I know I've only got so much time before it's 10/10 pain which will lead to hospitalization. It's how I've found all of my doctors who manage my pain since several car accidents have left my back and knee, left hip a total mess. This clinic will give you your life back.
