I appreciate the point of the program, but as a mental health professional myself I have been shocked at how much the staff lack knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the families and the clients. My child participated in day treatment, skills and psych assessment through Fraser. The staff are incompetent, unprofessional, and lack the ability to provide whole family care (family sessions were a joke). The staff do not genuinely care about your child and family. Anytime I expressed a concern nothing was done nor did the staff seem to care. I was forced to work with providers I didn’t trust and finish the programming (I made it clear I wanted a different provider, that didn’t happen). You also will hear multiple different messages from their client services scheduling team who is extremely disorganized and acts in a similar manner as lack of genuine support, understanding the the families they are serving. I was told to call in July to schedule an August appointment by Fraser staff, the staff said they are full for August and didn’t have the September schedule out and told me I was supposed to call in June, I called in early July. I pointed out to the staff on the phone the appointment has to be in August and if their scheduling only goes out one month I couldn’t have called to schedule it in June (schedule doesn’t go two months out) all she said was “right” as I pointed out the discrepancy in the messages they had given me with proof that I was told the wrong thing. Their staff are clueless and families need genuine support and guidance which you won’t find at any Fraser. Go anywhere else but Fraser!!! The populations that are served here deserve much better!
