If you or a loved one is struggling with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring, Water Gap Wellness is the place for you or them. You will be welcomed by a compassionate and nurturing clinical team. The staff goes above and beyond for the clients, always ensuring a positive and productive healing environment. The case management team is exceptional, as they do their best to welcome individuals to the program as they guide the way with aftercare planning. Clients will be offered group therapy sessions of all kinds, ranging from trauma-informed care to learning about addiction and the brain. There are even art groups run by two separate individuals— both do exceptional work at using art as a tool to boost feelings of positivity and recovery. Clients are matched with an individual therapist that the team feels will be the most comfortable fit for each individual, and clients will design an individualized treatment plan that best suits the care they are seeking. Clients are encouraged to involve their loved ones in their treatment, and family sessions are a common piece of the treatment process, ensuring that clients can transition back to their day-to-day life as comfortably as possible. Overall, if I had someone close to me that was struggling and needed help, Water Gap Wellness is the first place I would want them to go.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I compare mental health providers in Pennsylvania?
When comparing providers in Pennsylvania, consider location relative to where you live or work, the specific services offered, levels of care available (such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, or inpatient), therapy approaches used, conditions treated, hours of operation, whether a website is available, accreditation status, and reviews when listed. Not all details are available for every provider, so it can help to check each facility listing directly.
What should I ask before contacting a provider in Pennsylvania?
Before reaching out to a provider, it helps to know what you are looking for. Consider asking about current appointment availability, accepted insurance plans and self-pay or sliding-scale options, whether telehealth appointments are offered, which specific services are currently active, and whether the provider has experience treating your particular concern. Availability and services can change, so confirming details directly with the facility is recommended.
Are all services listed on Mental Health US available at every facility?
No. Services vary by facility and may change over time. The information shown in each listing reflects what was available when the record was created or last updated. Always confirm current service availability, hours, and intake procedures directly with the provider before visiting or calling.
Can I find both mental health and substance use treatment providers in Pennsylvania?
Some listings in Pennsylvania may include providers that offer substance use treatment alongside mental health services, depending on available provider data. Use the Core Services filter to search for specific service types, or browse facility detail pages to see the full list of services reported for each provider.
What if I cannot find the right provider in my city?
If you do not find a suitable provider in a specific city, try broadening your search by browsing all Pennsylvania providers using the statewide view, or use the filter dropdowns to search by condition treated, therapy type, or level of care without entering a specific city. You can also browse nearby city pages to see providers in surrounding communities.
