Boooo! To Northwestern Medical in Orland Park! Getting an 87 year old Alzheimers patient ready for and to her 9:00 am appointment with her Primary Care Physician is a difficult and stressful process! To arrive at Northwestern Medical and be told, "Sorry. The building is closed. There's no power. You'll have to reschedule your appointment," is infuriating! Northwestern can email, text, call for payments owed, etc. Failing to notify patients of their building being closed due to power loss demonstrates a lack of professionalism, patient courtesy and inexcusable negligence. Oh, and when I went through the Northwestern Medical portal to reschedule her appointment, the first available appointment with her PCP is in November!
