If I could give 0 stars I would. If you have a choice not to come here and you're not court ordered, DONT. They don't give seconds on meals and the meals you do eat are very bogus (high carbs) to the extent that I've lost about 5-7 lbs as I even told them my concern about my weight due to having a fast metabolism and faster recently due to exercise which will naturally speed it up, in just a month being there mind you. You also have to sign a day in advance 3 fricking times just to be able to have a little more freedom in order to get off supervised passes, you have to go with someone in order for that to happen too, and if you've been missing even an hour of group, you cannot, and if that wasn't the worse thing, you must be off supervision passes in order to even work. They thought it was a smart idea to remove the fitness room in 3.1 and lo and behold, there's no real morning routine activity there nor real oppurtunity for comradery in that gym sense. I'm in a sober home now in Kasson now thankfully, after being discharged dishonorably considering the day I got kicked out, I had made all groups that day, hate to admit it, but I was trying to hide my smile as I was being told I had to leave. They did make sure to give me a ride back to the twin cities, and i'm very fortunate I made a very close friend in Valleyview who looked out for me as well as my mother in order to get where I am now. Lastly, the medical staff are super uppity, as in the ones behind the bubble or desk, and I highly doubt even understand recovery or addiction, there's a few good ones sure but most need a reality check. The staff are decent, that's one thing, counselors more or less, RS...meh. Danyelle was my counselor and she was the only one that seemed to care about me at all and held me accountable. The rest could really care less if they were able.
