Ms Cruz at the front desk when you walk in is one of the nicest most friendly people I have ever met. I was in serious need of help and was just a walk in but she helped me get set up with everything I needed. She and all the folks there were very kind to me and patient with me in my time of need.

When i first started going here I was seeing Dr.Gainey. Majority of the staff ive seen for substance abuse and primary care have been really nice, however I dont think some of the providers understand how withdrawal works and the toll it puts on the person going through it. I began seeing another provider for my substance abuse and primary care. Last month I got the 100mg suboclade shot and I could feel it wearing off these past few days. I called their office yesterday as I was instructed when I got that shot. I got a call back from one of the nurses who said she would let my provider know. I then got a call back after 5pm stating my provider said the only thing she could do was order me a 300mg shot. I asked how long it would take to get there and I was told anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks. Im not sure what she expects me to do in the meantime. If I had time for withdrawals I wouldn't be going to a doctor in the first place. Im now in the process of trying to find another place, until then I guess I will have to do what others in my place would do. All in all, this place takes too many patients and you can not talk directly to your provider when they mess up something like not sending in your prescriptions on time. Before making an appointment here you need to make sure you have a doctor that completely understands mental health/substance abuse before committing to that doctor or this facility. I now see why they went from 4.5 stars to under 3.8. Again, they take way too many patients and dont remember anything you tell them from your previous appointment. I hate carolina behavioral care closed because the doctor i seen there, remembered everything about me as most great providers do. This place will have you buying medication off the street because of how stressed they get you.
