I walked into this building originally 30ish years ago.. so imagine my surprise when not only a psychiatrist (my old one still works here) but also the intake coordinator, remembered me.. amazing (new) first impression. I have a hard time trusting people in these type of establishments, and dont feel comfortable usually for awhile.. today, is the first time in a long time that I felt completely at ease in a mental health institution, and I believe it is the first time, ever, that I didnt feel nervous for a first therapy appointment, (havent even seen the therapist yet) thanks for this, I was (as I always am) nervous about starting new with a provider, and am now waiting to see a new therapist and couldnt be more grateful for this experience.
