Mental Health Providers in Irwin, Pennsylvania

I wish my experience with your new start up over the last 9 months was one I could speak about in a positive light. In less than a year I was passed off by my initial therapist who left the practice, and by my first prescriber who I was also told had left the practice. Not only did one of the providers not notify me, but neither did Mind Dojo. I also find it a little irresponsible to have your head therapist Kara be in charge of programs or any kind of therapy with how dismissive she can be to patients. After missing 2 classes out of an 8 week class I voluntarily signed up for, and was being billed through my insurance, Kara made sure to wait until the day before the next class to leave me a voicemail dismissing me from the program. I guess there wasn’t enough time for me to “catch up” even if I attended the remainder of the classes. OK. Fast forward 3-4 weeks and Mind Dojo contacts me to tell me my class is cancelled for the night. The class I was already dismissed from. WOW. That’s the only word I can even come up with at this point. I thought I found something good when I was looking for a new behavior health provider in Westmoreland County, but after less than a year of headaches with changing providers, paying over $1,300.00 to your new start up since July 2024, and all of the staff changes, thank you for encouraging me to actively look to take my mental health and my business elsewhere.
