I am very impressed with the way this place is run. First of all my fiancée is a veteran and has been seeking help through the VA for a physiological induced/ medically induced MH issue. He was in the ER and urgent care several times, telling his MH provider he needed help something was wrong, being told that it was all in his head. The day my fiancée was admitted to the Northeastern center I honestly didn’t know if he would live, he couldn’t eat, sleep or function and within hours after admission one dose of medication under his tongue and he was much better. It took two days of inpatient and he is home. I am very grateful to the doctor who knew enough to treat him with the right medication. The VA would never have figured it out. As far as all the bad reviews I had no negative experiences nor did my fiancée. They did give me a code and it worked easily and yes that is to protect the patience privacy and it is HIPAA. This place also excepts sliding scale. From start to finish wonderful. Totally professional, glad to know they exist

Was going to go here but after talking to the woman I was told that for intake it's just walk in only no appointment. I'll just keep looking for a different place to go to because I am not going to wait and then get told come back later this week or next week for intake. I rather have an appointment for the intake not an walk in and sit and wait for several hours or worse get told that they reached their limit for today on intake.

I went to allendale for my first and only treatment stay. I was scared to go, I didn’t know a single person. I soon realized how comforting the staff were, I was slightly pushed out of my comfort zone, and I will forevor be grateful for that. I made good friends with the people and staff there. Allendale is very special, if you want to change, be willing and give them a call.
