I’d like to share an experience and not everybody is going to agree with me on. The way I feel. Thank God I am almost 3 years clean off of any kind of opiate which was my DOC. I went to this place and I was still messed up. I brought my own bag in.(🤦‍♀️) after the second day of still being out of it, the ladies at the rehab took me to the hospital where the doctor commence to give me 8 mg of Narcan! It might’ve been my third day like I said I was kind of out of it, but with the amount that I did even if I was completely sober for three or four days, 8 mg of Narcan was not going to make me feel good! I feel like somebody should be told about this so that it doesn’t happen again because I feel like that doctor could have killed me and they stood by watching! And then just a couple hours afterwards they put me in a van and forced me to sit outside of a gas station for hours while I waited on a ride to come and get me. That was completely unprofessional and in my mind it was evil! Three years sober and I’m still having nightmares over it. That might be a good place, but the people who did this to me were not good at all.

I have made 3 appointments with this office and I've been seen once. It has been a year since I moved to this area and last saw a therapist, so I figured it was time to connect with a new one. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance to see a new therapist. I arrived at the location a half an hour early, as instructed. I did all of my intake interview paperwork stuff, and then sat for 20 minutes before being informed that the therapist I was supposed to meet with was dealing with a mental health crisis of another patient, so I needed to reschedule. While my heart goes out to the person going through that crisis, I'm not really sure why I was penalized and why someone else wasn't able to take the phone call. Nonetheless, they rescheduled me for a week later. Not going to lie, I've been struggling quite a bit with my mental health so waiting an additional week when I thought I was going to get to talk to someone that day really sucked. But I tried to get over it and waited patiently until the next appointment. I went in the following week and was finally able to meet with my new therapist, though she was 15 minutes late. We met and had a decent session, although I was incredibly concerned with the fact that she seemed overly invested in everything I told her about my life. Concern to the extreme. When I'm looking for a therapist, I expect non-bias honesty. Not blindly going along with anything that comes out of my mouth. So that was a little off-putting and a bit of a red flag, but again, I tried really hard to push past it. I scheduled my next appointment for a week later. I confirmed the date and time with both the secretary and the therapist. I arrived today for my appointment just to be told that the therapist was actually out sick today. Of course she was. I asked why I wasn't called or informed about this because I had to take a half day of work just to go to this appointment. She then told me that I wasn't on the schedule anywhere and she had no idea what I was talking about or why I was there. To say I'm beyond livid is an understatement. In the realm of mental health care, your patients should be your priority. It baffles me that they have canceled two of my three appointments on me day-of for things I had no control over. I am so disappointed and do not plan on going back to this facility again. I will not be wasting my time.

This was my first time at the Rockville office. And I'm glad that my daughter referred me here. Everyone is so pleasant and took the time I needed to explain things.
