Mental Health Providers in New Bedford, Massachusetts

The most disorganized, lack of care/empathy, mental health facility I’ve experienced. I’ve had nothing but stress and frustration with dealing with these providers & office staff. Back in July, they took me off two of my psych meds *without telling me* they were going to do that which is very dangerous to do with someone with my mental illness. Every time I’ve tried to communicate with Boston Neuro, that I needed my medication refilled or to be seen, they told me, “go to your emergency room.” What er is going to fill a psych med? They will tell me to go to my DOCTOR. The therapist I had here, (while all this was going on) left for two months and I never got a reason why? So I advocated for myself and left. I found therapy else where. With a therapist who doesn’t cut my appointments in half and wants to help me. Like other commenters, I have had a fill in N.P for the last two months. Can’t even get into my own psychiatrist or I’m told “go to the emergency room.” These mental health professionals/companies claim to care about us who struggle with mental illness, but really just look at us like we’re “crazy.” We are human beings who want to feel better and deserve respect as individuals from our care team. Please, as a company do better.

Extremely thorough providers in my opinion, I’ve had nothing but in depth mental health treatment from them, a few years ago and returning recently as I needed a new provider. They are for the community, and want to see people with significant issues live a more productive, peaceful, and normalized life. I’ve read some bad reviews on this place through google and really couldn’t disagree more. I feel the ones commenting so negatively may have not had the best attitude towards their treatment. I’m just a patient who has seen genuine people there. People that are so assuring that you can tell they’re passionate about what they do. Motivated to get the right treatment plan and continue my healing process with them.
