First off I never complain give advice or do reviews online but this experience blew my mind. I couldn't believe how unprofessional my first visit iwas lit was horrible I felt judged, anxious exstremely uncomfortable all the feelings you don't want to be feeling on your first visit They wanted to do a back round check before they even met me which was a invasion of my privacy I never heard of such a thing The staff was very rude and treated me like I was a fly on the wall the staff kept staring at me and giggling I was so disrespected I was nothing but polite to them.l was so embarrassedI I just wanted to get the hell out of there and never look back but I really needed the help and I was willing to give it a chance....big mistake It didn't get better it was just one bad experience after another. Any way If you really need help for your wall being Ii would recommend going somewhere else where you are treated like a human being and receive the proper care you deserve.

Meg, Denise, and Jill were magnificent, however, the end result of me asking for help and entering this program was terrible. I am a single mother and with all the support I had within the recovery community, I found myself needing something more. I ASKED FOR HELP! The Plymouth Gosnold facility was suggested to me. The female Nurse Practitioner Roma, threatened me, stated I needed to go to a detox or else she would need to take further action. Why? Because my UAs came back positive. So, this "harm reduction" facilities staff reported me to DCF because I could not get into a detox. Again, I am a single mother and not 1 single time has my daughter ever been in danger, neglected, or abused. I understand the concept of "mandated reporter" however, I believe this was an ABUSE OF POWER. I never went to the facility under the influence, I always participated in groups, I even got a nickname "spicy spitfire." This woman met me 2 times and it was virtual both times. The most troubling part was a "manager" encouraged her to submit the report, a manager who never met me 1 single time. This is a travesty. As a result, DCF invaded my life for nearly 6 months, making me even more nervous constantly. NO ONE SHOULD EVER BE MADE TO FEEL THIS WAY WHEN ASKING FOR HELP. I am not submitting this to scare people away from asking for help, just go elsewhere. I will say again, Meg, Denise, and Jill were wonderful. If you do elect to use them, do not disclose your personal life, especially if you are a single mother. I felt targeted by this woman, which is sad. She claims to have been doing this for 20 years, well it may be time to hang up your name tag, because she clearly has no concept of determining whether someone should be reported to the absolute worst organization in the country. This abuse of power seriously harmed my life, kicking my PTSD, anxiety, and depression into HIGH GEAR. The case was CLOSED a few months later because there was NO FOUNDATION, NO ABUSE, NO NEGLECT, and no resources were provided, only because I already had them all. I grew up in recovery and have plenty of ties within the community. ABSOLUTE ABUSE OF POWER. ROMA should be investigated for abuse of power. I am probably NOT the only person who has been harmed by this abuse of power and won't be the last.
