The best part of Serenity at Summit in Haverhill by far is the staff. Don’t get me wrong, the facility is nice and clean and the food is good, but what helped me was the true care that the staff had for every single patient. Many of the staff are also in recovery and understand where we are and where we’re going. Even being slightly short staffed, the people working busted their butts to make sure we were taken care of. From my angel of a case manager, Gina, to BHTs like Nevaeh, Jess, Cristy, Caroline, Andrea. Rick, Isha, and Steve, to the group leaders like Ashley and Lindsey, I knew I could go to anyone and be listened to and cared for. I can’t thank everyone there enough for helping me start my way to recovery.

DONT BECOME A PATIENT HERE!!! they constantly tell me an appointment time for it either to be another appointment time or they move it .. never telling me till I show up AFTER the time they moved it to and they tell me I’m out of luck and to wait for a call the next day.. gave me the wrong time for that call as well! Then NEVER called. I have been without my suboxone for three days now at NO fault of my own. The girl that took my urine that day told me they have had nothing but issues lately since they don’t have enough providers for the patient load… I’m Traveling an hour away GLADLY to never have to deal with them ever again. BECOME A PATIENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

if i was writing this review months ago it would have been 10 stars if i could, but let me just say I am shocked. ya'll got rid of Lindsey? I have been a client at Meta 3 times. First time was in North Reading and I didnt like it, I left. It felt like every other treatment center out there and to be honest no one learns with powerpoints. Anyway I relapsed, needed help and a friend of mine told me to go to Meta Haverhill, because they were above and beyond all of their other sites, and you know what they were right. And why? Lindsey. She created a space where everyone felt safe, welcome, taken care of, supported, loved, and treated like a human. You cant teach the way she treated her clients. I called her one night at about 11 frantic, a whole hand full of pills in my hand (she didnt know at the time) but within 10 minutes I had flushed them. And why did I call her? because she always told us PLEASE REACH OUTTTT I MEAN IT! and she did mean it. She cared, she didnt judge, she listened, she took the time to understand. the amount of clients that called her, reached out to her, depended on her and she always answered, no matter the day the time. We all talked about how wonderful she was as a WHOLE....And shes a single mom, who still never left us worrying... who does that? She did. we told her ONCE we didnt feel included at the other alumni events, so you know what she made us our own, and it was AMAZING the amount of people she has helped and taken care of.... and now what? I have a friend who is currently a client there, she said one day lindsey was there, the next she wasnt without even a single explanation from management. She also said the entire environment has changed, and it is nothing like it was. So if you wanted another basic run of the mill treatment center that doesnt stand out, and doesnt get repeat clients, then good job you accomplished that. you took a beautiful center that those women created ( lindsey being the only constant) and you destroyed it. its a shame. go somewhere else people. its ruined!
