Mental Health Providers in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

This place is terrible. They do not care about your recovery. They do not treat you like a human being. The nurses are beyond disrespect and their attitudes are disgusting. They talk to and remind you constantly that they believe they are better than you when really, they're glorified water boys with a name tag. The clinicians do the bare minimum and although there might be a couple good eggs-this is not a place to go if you're serious about your recovery. They are unprofessional, irrational and make it quite clear theyre only there for a paycheck. There are other methadone clinics in the area and other options and if you're not already stuck at this one/or have the ability to get to a different location I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately there is alot of people who don't have the luxury of being able to transfer to different locations and if that's the case for you and this is your only option-i highly recommend being as closed off as possible. Do no open up. Do not give up any information that you don't have to, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Get a hand book and a policy packet and know your rights. Don't be taken advantage of at your lowest like so many others. You are human and you do matter.

My mother in law has been to that hospital so many times and they never seem to do anything to address the issue. The communication is pretty minimal - she was admitted and nobody called us. We had to do the whole runaround to figure out what was happening. We even had to talk to friends who work there (insane) just to get info. They leave her in that ER for hours and hours. It seems like the doctors are just there to check a box in their careers and aren’t super invested in the patients or community. That’s been our experience. I’d never tell someone to choose BMC. It’s been mostly very frustrating and negative for us.

I've been with service not going on a decade and a half. And I haven't been in therapy in the last 4 years due to the covid-19 outbreak. In all my years I've had thee top therapist. I finally got a new and her name is Cindy she has a big heart and I was a little scared coming back after 4 years cause of covid restrictions. This is my 1st in person time with a Therapist in quite awhile Cindy is such a warming person I'm so glad to be back thank you to all my past therapist at service net I'm thank you for cindy.
