Unfortunately, this is one of the only in-person therapy places in Stroudsburg. I say "unfortunately", because they have not had a psychiatrist on shift in many months. Instead, they have hired a nurse practitioner, 'Mr.Fucci' who has near to no idea how important altering meds can be. There have been multiple times where Fucci has prescribed me the wrong medication, not just once, but at least 3 times. You can tell that he does not genuinely care for his client's well being. The only actual psychiatrist who had left this place was very unprofessional as well. During one of my appointments, she was speaking on her personal cell phone about a custody battle, and something about court (while I am paying for my session).Almost everyone here is unprofessional at their jobs, minus my therapist who actually cares and does his job pretty well. He is still very underpaid regardless. You have to wait over a month to book an appointment with Fucci, if there is even an open spot, for a b.s. and rushed appointment. This place is supposed to be for people who are struggling and want to reach out for help, yet some staff, and the people who run "Clairvita", or Redco don't seem to actually care about you or the help you need. They just want your insurance money or cash from your pocket. They even call you "consumers" on their front desk signage. There have also been times where the front desk staff have canceled my appointments (that I have confirmed) because they failed to reach me and tried to give my confirmed appointment to another patient. I know this because my therapist actually told me so, and said they were lying about some technical issues with their system. Very unprofessional. It is unfortunate for those of us who have no choice but to go here for treatment. Stay strong to you out there also dealing with this place. Sometimes they can make a bad day worse for us.
